CHIHUAHUAS

My friend, Connie asked for pix of the furbabies. Unfortunately, neither of them like to have their pix taken! This is Maggie Mae, who thinks she is a princess and is very camera shy. Maggie is nearly 6 yo. She weights a bit over 4 pounds. Maggie has a great sense of humor and is very verbal. Matter of fact she is sometimes too verbal. Occassionally she will put her front paws on top of my little bedtray computer table and pound her paws as she is "talking" very loudly. I just howl because she is so funny.
This little guy is Jackson Fletcher. Yes, he does look like a min-pin, but is not. He and Maggie are half brother and sister, they have the same Mom. Jack makes Maggies life hell, just as little brothers sometimes do. He loves to run after Mags and nip at her hind leg, then runs off. If she is sitting in a bed, he will get in it too, just to annoy her.
Actually he is a very sweet and loving little guy and my best buddy. When I am home Jack is right with me. He is a little Cling-On. Maggie is more independent.

When their Mom was carrying the litter with Jack, the breeders found out she had cancer and the puppies were taken as soon as they could. Jack was hand raised and that is probably why he is so needy and loves HIS human.

Their Mom is ok and living a very good life. The people I got Jack and Maggie from are wonderful and think the world of their furbabies. The whole house is beautiful and set up for all the Chis. It is like an upscale doggie day care place! They interview any perspective buyers and have been known to say NO, you can not have one of our beautiful babies. It is nice to know there are responsible and caring breeders out there, when all we hear about is the nasty puppy mills.

I also purchased Oliver & Maurice from a breeder in Maricopa, AZ. I checked out the website, then visited. It was puppy heaven! They also charge enough that one would think twice before buying. They are very careful about the buyers and the puppies.

I knew the breed I wanted, and couldn't find a Papillion rescue in Phoenix. Ironically, I just discovered one yesterday!
